Becoming Fear-less

Ways to connect to the true warrior you are...

I'm sure we all know starting something new is hard. Learning something new can be difficult as well. We are creatures of habit, and become even more-so as we get older. Remember when you were a kid and everyday felt so new? Like anything was possible. Yes, structure is great. But are you falling into more and more comfort due to fear? When was the last time you pushed yourself in any kind of way- mentally or physically? I recently have made a huge life transition and I was thinking about how the Universe is everything (I know... a big thought)! If we are made from the same stardust particles that literal stars also are made of (so crazy) then really we are just a piece of the Universe. We are held by the Universe. That idea for some reason, made me feel fearless for just a moment.


I am held by the Universe.


Fearlessness is a quality that can transform your life and enable you to reach your full potential. In this blog post, we'll share some positive tips and mantras to help you overcome fear and instead, find unwavering support in the universe. You've got this.


Acknowledge Your Fears

The first step in moving through fear (as we can move through any emotion) is to acknowledge it. Be honest with yourself and what you're afraid of. Whether it's the fear of failure (aka redirection), the unknown (the end result is the knowing) or change (life is energy continuously moving), understanding your fears is the first step toward The first step in conquering fear is acknowledging it. Practice Self Compassion

Remember, it's okay to feel fear. It's actually a very normal human emotion. Fear is a survival mechanism that used to alert us back in the day when we were out there in the w i l d. So yes, it's okay to feel fear. Be kind to yourself when you feel fear. Talk to yourself. Rather than being pulled deeper into angst, ask yourself "What do I need right now? Can I take a step back and see what is happening in front of me?" Offer yourself the same love and understanding you'd give to your best friend.


Connect with Nature

Since you're a nature-loving individual, spend time outside your house! Nature truly does have a way of grounding us and reminding us of the larger universe. Take a walk outside without headphones in and listen to the wind rustle the tree leaves. Feel the actual, physical support of the Earth beneath your feet. Let it remind you - 'I am held by Earth. I am supported by Earth. I am fearless.'


Meditate & Breathe

Incorporate meditation into your daily routine. Don't know how? We have a library on our website of journal prompts and meditations to help guide and support you. Meditation helps calm the mind, reduce anxiety and allows you to connect with your inner strength. With every breath, inhale courage and exhale fear. A little meditation is to imagine you are inhaling white light, and exhaling black smoke.


Mantras to be fear-less
  • "I am strong, capable, and fearless."

  • "The universe supports me, and I trust in its plan for me."

  • "I release my fears and embrace the opportunities before me."

  • "I am in harmony with nature, and fear has no place in my heart."

Other tips are to spend time with friends who uplift and inspire you. Share your fears with them and find that their encouragement and support can bolster your fearlessness. Another little something to help is to set small goals. Start small and work your way up through the fear. Each time you achieve a small goal that is part of the bigger picture, it reinforces your confidence and diminished fear. Lastly, give back to the universe. Be a force for good in the world. Support environmental causes, give back to your community, literally say 'hi' to your neighbor or simply be a positive influence for those around you. When you give to the universe, it often gives back in unexpected ways.


Remember, fear is a natural emotion, but it doesn't have to define you. By practicing these tips and mantras, you can find the strength and support within yourself and the universe to be more courageous and live the life you've always dreamed of.
