Easy ways to connect to your Goddess heart.
As we begin to transition from Winter to Spring, you'll see nature emerging. Whether you're experiencing the wildflower hills bloom in Southern Orange County or enjoying the cherry blossoms explode in the Northern East Coast, there's one thing for certain- Spring is here. And with that comes a responsibility to reawaken that piece of your heart/soul/mind/body that screams "I am a Goddess!" Why is this important? Because the more we are in tune with our authentic, full selves and shine it, it lets others acknowledge their own shine. You can create a ripple effect of love just by being yourself- and that, my dear, is a Goddess Rising.
Selenite:

If you didn't know, our Selenite bra and panty set are inspired by the one and only Selenite crystal. This crystal is said to have a meaning of clarity and consciousness because of the color and opacity of it. Crystal colors more often-than-not connect back to the chakra system. The chakras are main points of energy on the body, like the heart and belly. The chakra, or energy wheel, that Selenite connects to is the crown chakra. Its color is white and it sits at the top of your head. Whether you believe in crystals and chakras or not, you can still borrow the sweet attributes of this crystal and apply them to your life as a reminder to be your most authentic self. Here's how.
Goddess:
Selenite is known to be the goddess stone because of it's connection to the Ancient Greek goddess of the moon, Selene. You may have seen depictions of her wearing a crescent moon crown on her head. In Greek mythology, she herself was the moon, known to light up the night sky. What's key here is the idea of light in darkness. What is your super power, your light? That thing within you that cannot be dimmed, cannot be turned off, even in times of stress or pressure. Give it some thought and notice what consistent power you stand in within different situations throughout your day.
Purify:
The Selenite crystal is also knows as a purifier in regards to energy. Where in your mind can you purify your thoughts? Winter is a season of slowing down. As you transition from slowing down to blossoming open, give thought to what old thoughts, habits and even old versions of yourself you can brush off that aren't serving your new dreams and visions. You're a Goddess Rising! What areas of your life can you cleanse? Speaking from experience, when I have purified my thoughts it seems that the mindset expands into all areas of my life, making it easier to cleanse my physical space and relationships. Clearing out your old phone contacts is a very satisfying feeling as well ;)
Recharge:
You've heard it said again and again, but are you doing anything to actually recharge? A recharge can be different each week. Sometimes it's getting to bed earlier, or an adventure to recharge the soul, maybe it's being silent out in nature or can be a call to your best friend. Although the Selenite crystal can be an aid in recharging, this doesn't mean an object is going to do all the work for you. Not that recharging should be work- but it should be an effort to make time to do what your heart/body/mind needs in that day. Check in with yourself, Goddesses need to recharge, too.
What lights you up? Where can you cleanse out that stagnant winter energy? What do you really need to feel refreshed? Borrowing these attributes from the Selenite crystal can be applied to your everyday life to make you feel more authentic... more of a Goddess Rising. It's more powerful to embrace the transition than to let life happen to you.
