Goddess Rising Accepted into PFI Program.
It's been a minute.
I know, I know, I've been a lil MIA. But in all fairness- a lot has been going on!
Expansion is happening ; )
Not only have we been vending outdoors at the East Falls Farmer's Market (lol hi 32 degrees) but we also attended the Now&Then Market, also known as N&T Market down in Philly. You can bet more markets are in store, as well as a visit back to CA.
It's been so inspiring talking with my humble east coast queens in person at our markets. And with spring on it's way I honestly cannot wait to pack up my heavy winter jacket and open my arms to wild tulips and infinite bird songs. Spring just hits different on the east coast.
Our biggest news, though, is that Goddess Rising was accepted into the Philadelphia Fashion Incubator Program!
Of all who applied, us along with three other brands were invited into the year-long program which will provide networking, resources and a studio space down in the Phila Macy's Center.
My commitment to Goddess Rising and her muses (that's you) has surpassed what it was before due to this new program. I now have the ability to hire on help, connect with other creatives and expand here in Philadelphia.
To those of you icy queens who showed up through the snow storm (yes, snow) and even on weekends of below freezing weather, I thank you! I never thought I would be selling panties outdoors in freezing weather... in Philadelphia. There was no plan to ever leave California- but life be like that. Wild. Unexpected. Beautiful. Alive. And sometimes below freezing.
