January + February GiveBack proceeds- IWAY PROJECT

Every month Goddess Rising Intimates returns proceeds back to the community. This dual-month (January + February) GiveBack is IWAY Project, located in Alameda County, California.
The past few weeks, 2021 has been witness to an alarming rate of Asian-hate crimes- very disheartening. It only felt right to give support back to our Asian community.
This hits home for Goddess Rising due the family tree originating in Japan as well as a sweet Obaasan (grandmother) migrating over to the US. A huge brand-inspiration has always been Japan.

"IWAY’s goal is to increase access to mental health services, as well as to create and provide a safe space for Asian youth to express and explore their mental health and Asian American identity... We center our care to meet the youth with where they are at physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, along with providing culturally and linguistically relevant programs and services.​"
The proceeds of this Giveback will go towards their Youth Peer support groups and future community events, including supplies and incentives.
"(Our core value is) To provide accessible mental health and wellness support programs, services, and resources to Asian youth in Alameda County, as well as to empower Asian youth to challenge the mental health stigma in their communities."
